The mission of the Administrative services is to operate the financial activities of the Town of Gaspé with respect to the municipal council orientations in a context of equity and transparency, and that, in accordance with the rules and regulations.

The object is to counsel the different municipal services and provide them with the financial information that will allow them to realise their respective projects. The specific activities of the Administration services are :

. Preparing the annual budget;
. Preparing financial statements;
. Controling the budget;
. Paying suppliers;
. Issuing and percieving the general property taxes and property transfer duties;
. Invoicing and percieving other revenus (bails, rentals and all other services offered by the Town;
. Permanent financing of loan settlements and controling the municipal debt;
. Administrating the employees Pension plan and Collective insurance plan;
. Preparing employees' wages.
