WRITTEN CONSULTATION AND PUBLIC CONSULTATION MEETING

DRAFT OF BY-LAW 1156-11-70

NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of "Ville de Gaspé", at its extraordinary meeting held on July 22, 2025, has adopted by resolution the following draft of by-law and that a public consultation meeting will be held at the Town Hall, on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

Draft of by-law 1156-11-70

The draft of by-law amends the zoning by-law 1156-11, as follows:

• « Modifiant le point 1) Habitation du tableau NOMBRE DE CASES DE STATIONNEMENT* de l’article 21.4 NOMBRE DE CASES DE STATIONNEMENT* en ajoutant une cinquième catégorie
• Modifiant le paragraphe de l’article 21.6 STATIONNEMENT* COMMUN en ajoutant les zones M-278 et M-279
• Ajoutant un troisième point à l’article 22.12.2 AFFICHAGE DANS UNE ZONE* OU UNE CLASSE D’USAGES* DU GROUPE HABITATION OU DE LA CLASSE D’USAGES* HEBERGEMENT LEGER (C-9) EST AUTORISEE
• Modifiant les usages autorisés dans la zone RT-169 afin de permettre comme usage spécifiquement permis dans cette zone, l’usage Vente au détail de poissons et de fruits de mer (5422). »

The concerned zone (RT- 169) situated in the area of Michel-Pouliot Airport, is illustrated on the following sketch :

This draft of By-Law does contain provisions specific to a by-law subject to referendum approval.

During this meeting, the Mayor or another Council member designated by him, will explain the draft of by-law and the consequences of its adoption, and will hear the persons and bodies wishing to express their views.

In addition, this draft regulation will also be the subject of a written consultation which will be held from August 7 to 15, 2025 inclusively. During this period, we invite anyone interested to submit questions, observations, or comments in writing, no later than Friday August 15, 2025, as follows:

• By mail, in person, by delivery services or by messenger at the Town clerk office located at the town hall at 25, rue de l'Hotel-de-Ville, Gaspé, Québec, G4X 2A5;

• By email at vezina@ville.gaspe.qc.ca
